As One Life grows, the blessing brings new challenges...We need help. The ministry is moving faster than we can accomodate and One Life needs men and women to support indigenous ministries around the globe. Some are called to give prayer and financial support, yet others are led to be on the ground; taste the dirt and raw earth that countless sleep on…the “hands and feet” of Jesus.
In Matthew 9:37, Jesus tells us that, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” With no shortage of need, OL needs men and women willing to step out in faith.
Below are a sample of the most pressing positions available with One Life. It could be something support raised or volunteer, but always difficult...moments no one can understand and life changing with a cost. You might wrestle with things never thought of before and question lots. But! a mother will sleep tonight knowing tomorrow is looked after, a family will have a father, and a child will grow up healthy.
Lives will be changed because you said, "yes Lord."
Ways You Can Help:
Prayer Partners:
One Life would like to connect with people committed to praying over this ministry. Someone who can develop a team that would intentionally pray for this work and develop a prayer partnership is needed, but not everyone can do that. What is needed most is prayer partners...James 5:17 stuff. It doesn't mean you have to lead the team, but committed to praying for this ministry and it's workers. Please email info@onelifeonechance.ca if this is your calling. It means so much to us and we would like to know who is on the prayer team. You may not think so, but this is the best way you can help!
Book-keeper (Canada):
One Life is looking for someone who is willing to commit part-time to balancing the books between Canada and our other ministries. The job description is a 2 day a week commitment that can be blended over a week. This commitment requires an individual that understands the relationship between CRA, charitable organizations, and willing to meet deadlines. Further details will be provided upon request.
Computer Tech (Canada):
One Life is looking for someone who can develop and maintain web-pages, edit video, and produce professional correspondence for our printers. This need not be a locked in time commitment, but requires an individual that values prompt attention and a heart for the purpose. Creativity and a “self starter” are essential. Additional details will be provided upon request.
