Continuing Volunteers

In addition to our staff, there is also a number of people that have come alongside OLOC to volunteer their time and service year after year. Much of this ministry’s progress would not be possible without the continuous support and participation of these volunteers. We are so thankful for them and the way that they continue to serve!

We are Jason and Beverly Selle and daughters Sierra (12), Cora (8), and River (3) . Having served on the ground floor with Stoney Creek Expeditions as a young married couple, we look forward to taking our family and working  alongside OLOC as they work with the various local Ministries in the San Quintin area of the Baja. Please pray for our family as we serve in the area of construction, maintenance as well as prep work for future teams at the OLOC base (Los Olivos).

Vic grew up in small-town BC with 6 siblings and an early faith in Christ. At age 24, he married Marie, his dearly loved wife who passed away nearly 4 years ago after a battle with cancer. Now at age 71, Vic continues to be extremely active with hobbies and in humanitarian and missions work, using his experience and abilities as a finished carpenter wherever he finds they are needed. In Vic’s earlier career, he worked framing over 150 homes before becoming a building contractor and forming Vic Way Homes Ltd. in 1973. After many years working in his business and small contracts, Vic has now begun to travel and do missions work at least 2-3 times a year and has served on short-term trips at One Life’s base in Mexico for the past 2 years doing finishing work on recent construction projects. We are so thankful for Vic’s talented work and his servant heart.

We are Stewart and Sallyanne – we were high school sweethearts and have now been married for 44 years. We have been blessed with 2 happily married children and 4 adult grandchildren. Our lives have been transformed through our faith in Christ as we continue to live the adventure.
Sailing from Vancouver to Mexico, volunteering in Peru for 3 years in Lima and the Amazon jungle, leading ministry teams to various communities worldwide including Mexico, Brazil, Lavjia and Peru have challenged us.
Stewart has a background in design, construction, water technology, project management and when not working on our retreat in Eagle Bay B.C. he will be found filling his time with one of his hobbies which include, hiking, canoeing, sailing, woodworking and photography.
Sallyanne’s experience has included teaching business development and employment strategies, E.S.L. along with administration, children’s ministry and bookkeeping.
We have a great desire to minister to the poor and encourage others to follow hard after God. Our passion is to pursue God and live for Him.
We are excited to be a part of OLOC in Los Olivos and use our skills while there for the winter season.
